The Coconut Oil Secret

The Coconut Oil Secret

There has been an established link to helping Alzheimer sufferers by taking coconut oil. We know that Alzheimer’s drugs have failed. We know that a drug company put a non-patentable natural substance (MCT) through an FDA trial, and it worked. But, it has now been discovered that a natural substance can be substituted for the expensive drug.

The amazing thing is that the natural substitute works better than the drug version. The ketones actually last for eight hours in the body when coconut oil is used versus three when the synthetic version is used.

The benefits of organic coconut oil are remarkable and well documented. Always use high quality Extra Virgin Unrefined and Organic Coconut Oil.

If you thought from reading about how using coconut oil daily for helping to reduce and possibly reverse the effects of Alzheimer’s, you’re going to be blown away by the other powerful health benefits of coconut oil. Here’s why…

Coconut oil contains medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs), which have been linked to a large variety of health benefits. Another added bonus of consuming organic coconut oil (and coconut cream or milk) is that it contains medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs), which have been linked to a large variety of health benefits. This tends to make us feel fuller for longer.

Studies indicate that MCFAs help increase feelings of fullness and lead to a reduction in calorie intake when compared to the same amount of calories from other fats. When MCFAs are metabolized, ketone bodies are created in the liver – these have been shown to have a strong appetite reducing effect helping you to lose fat faster.

The Natural Goodness Of Honey

The Natural Goodness Of Honey

Honey contains a concentrated dose of vitamins, minerals and nutrients that nourish and re-vitalize your body. It possesses unique antimicrobial properties that help you fight off infections.

Throughout history, honey has been used to treat…

  • Coughs
  • Wounds
  • Indigestion
  • Skin infections
  • Fatigue
  • Flu’s
  • Burns

Hippocrates (the father of modern medicine) used honey as a treatment for pain, dehydration, and fever. Researchers continue to uncover just how healing honey can be.

One of the vital components in honey is an enzyme called glucose oxidase, when exposed to oxygen, produces hydrogen peroxide — a strong acid that dissolves the cell walls of bacteria. (Most human cells have thicker cell walls and can resist the low amounts of acid honey produces.)

This makes honey a powerful tool for fighting skin infections, healing wounds, and otherwise supporting your immune system. (And its why honey is able to last for so long in your cupboard without going bad.)

In addition to giving you sugars, honey equips your body with a complex array of proteins, enzymes, minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, and other nutrients. The second these nutrients hit your body, they go to work…

  • Tuning up your heart, lungs, stomach, brain, eyes, and skin…
  • Controlling cancer-causing free-radicals and stopping cell damage in its tracks…
  • Detoxifying your body of harmful pollutants and other toxins.

Eaten in moderation you will see the benefits that honey brings to your regimen.

Superfoods To Control Appetite And Rid You Of Fat

Nagging hunger pangs are one of the biggest reasons dieters fall off track. All you want to do at that point is to feed your appetite, and it is often not the healthiest choice.

nuts and seeds

Nuts contain healthy fats to maintain optimal cholesterol levels, contain appetite killing fibre, which digests slowly, helping you to feel fuller longer.  Being high in calories, limit portion size to fit in the palm of your hand. Seeds are a tasty treat when roasted, satisfying the urge to snack and helping to regulate blood sugar which also works to curb the appetite. Just a small handful in between meals will ease those hunger pangs.

Avocados with pit. The file includes a excellent clipping path, so it's easy to work with these professionally retouched high quality image. Thank you for checking it out!

Packed with fibre and heart-healthy monounsaturated fat, they help to suppress the appetite and keeping your diet on track when eaten in moderation. Add about one-quarter to one-third of an avocado to a smoothie, or to a healthy salad to keep you feeling satiated.

wild salmon

Coldwater fish like salmon is high in omega-3 fatty acids which helps to increase the amount of a hormone known as leptin in your body responsible for suppressing hunger! Wild-caught salmon because it doesn’t contain the contaminants found in farmed stock.

Eggs are versatile and make all sorts of meals, they can help fight cravings for less healthy foods while also helping to maintain muscle mass. Scramble some up with mushrooms, another superfood that serves as a fat fighter, and you’ve got the perfect quick and easy meal.

“an apple a day…” fabulous superfood, packed with soluble fibre and pectin, which helps you feel full. Known to suppress hunger and they can also help regulate blood sugar and boost your energy level too. Because they require quite a bit of chewing time, it helps slow you down, giving the body more time to realize that you’re no longer hungry.

Mint is a wonderful herb, it smells heavenly and serves as an effective appetite suppressant. If you find yourself fighting the urge to snack, try sipping herbal mint tea.

Say No To Drama

no more drama

Say No To Drama

The only allowable drama is that which is offered for our viewing pleasure…The more confrontation and aggravation that we accumulate through our social interactions the worse it is for our health.  It can even lead to overweight, illness and related symptoms.

“When you are not honoring the present moment by allowing it to be, you are creating drama.” ~Eckhart Tolle

Do not be manipulated by the puppeteers in your life.  The things you say and do contradict because it is easier to blame the world and stay the same than it would be to really see ourselves and make a change.

If drama occupies multiple areas of your life, be honest with yourself—you’re the constant. Are you creating it? We don’t do anything repeatedly unless there’s something in it for us, so, what’s the payoff? Are you looking for attention or excitement? Did you grow up with drama and you just feel at home with it all around you?

Find alternative solutions. If you’re looking for attention, can you get it more directly? If you’re bored, what new adventure can create in your life?

In the limelight

Change perspective and stop allowing it to play into the limelight and by taking a step back and reviewing the situation you will soon realise that it actually is not as dire as it seemed when all the kerfuffle is removed. Take stock of who is in your life and what the relationship is, where toxicity exists simply remove it.  Confront the situation and deal with it either together with the co-creator or by parting ways.

stop or play

You are in control of this state at all times, life will always present mini fires that we feel desperate to put out. If we can learn not to fan them, they may actually be able to light our way.

Secret To A Happy Marriage

Valentine's Day poster.Typography. Love quote.

Secret To A Happy Marriage

Is there really a secret to being in a happy partnership? Apparently there is…the key is seperate bedrooms and before the barrage of protest starts it is true.

Good morning night

Despite popular belief cultures sharing a bed is not a romantic wild trip where two become one and all the other cliche sayings.  It is not fun ‘spooning’ and cuddling up having to listen and endure another person’s habits.  The ideal is to have your own space and more and more couples are coming to that conclusion.

Love birds

Most couples when asked will confirm that in fact having separate bedrooms means that they are more loving, because having a good night’s sleep in whatever form that may take; lulled by the TV, music or a good back whilst others prefer complete darkness and silence, we are not likely to share the same sleep patterns.  The absolute horror of a partner’s snore or sleep talking et al can conjure up feelings of intense anger when sleep deprivation kicks in as a result!

The bottom line is that separate bedrooms will serve your coupledom well.  We do all like to have our own space being able to pursue our individual interests, so why would bedtime be any different? Surely the bigger the bed the more room for you to stretch out in is a wonderful thing?

double bed

I strongly believe that the concept of the double bed, rose petals and swans mating for life was conjured up to satisfy honeymooners and those looking for romantic trysts! What happens when it is time to sleep?

Having separate bedrooms is truly paradise, being able to move about freely and not worry about your partner is liberating and your sex life is better than ever…So try it!

Are We Taking It Too Far

Caution Sign Isolated On White - Politically Correct Area Ahead

Are We Taking It Too Far

I don’t know about you but I think we have taken political correctness too far these days.  We cannot enjoy life’s simple pleasures anymore for fear of causing resentment, inciting hatred or heaven forbid insult someone’s belief system through using the wrong words or images?

ticking bomb

Simple things that we have always taken for granted seem to have a decoded subliminal message that could be passed like a ticking bomb (is that simile even allowed?) through our thoughts and messages.

snow white

Nativity plays are now being renamed so we are being treated to an offering of Snow White and the Seven Friends which absolutely beggars belief.  Perhaps we should be up in arms about the colour of the snow we could now have Snow (colour to be user defined) and the seven others.

Quill pen and ink well resting on a desk concept for correspondence, writer, author or contact

Furthermore a nom de plume that was of asian persuasion and taken by a white author has now been ruled as “cultural appropriation at its purest — it’s stealing from the struggle of people of color for a white man’s personal gain.”

global communications concept with jester joker and globe

The world is going crazy and it is a ride I am not getting on.  We have to be able to speak as we find without insult or injury.  If one can find a hidden meaning to an innocent joke or banter then we really do have a problem.

Let’s end the crazee here and now.
